What is GEO?
GEO stands for generative engine optimisation. More and more people no longer ask Google but ChatGPT, Perplexity or the AI overview in Google search. These systems read websites, summarise them and turn them into a short list of recommendations. If you don't show up there, you're never even compared.
What AI search looks for
An AI recommends what it can clearly place: what is the offer, who is it for, what sets it apart, and how can you tell it's true? Clear categories, specific audiences, verifiable numbers, comparisons with alternatives, direct answers to typical questions and trust signals make the difference.
What the GEO Check covers
The check rates your copy with a GEO score from 0 to 100, shows how an AI would summarise your offer, reviews six areas and gives you five prioritised improvements with rewritten example sentences. On top, you get typical questions you want to be named for and fitting structured data.
The check only works with the text you paste. It doesn't invent facts. Where proof is missing, you'll see placeholders to fill with real details. More in the essay How does an AI choose whom to trust?
